“Suburbs, townships, villages…all converge, coalesce into Houston. Houstonians don’t ask one another if they are from Houston. Growing up, we’d meet up when downtown became deserted after 5PM. We came from all parts escaping our satellites. These buildings and the outlining area are so stark. It was a wonderful feeling of being transported to someplace else.”
